This past Sunday (June 8). Pa,Amie,Jerdon, & I went to church for morning service, and after we got home Don & JJ came on out. Jim & Lawanda Wire, our longtime neighbors, came on over too and we all enjoyed a Blackberry Cobbler and some Homemade Ice Cream! Papa Chilson has been pickin blackberries by the gallons here at Luther Farm for the last few weeks! I've been freezing them till I get everything together to make some homemade jelly & although we've enjoyed several cobblers, the one shared Sunday was the best one yet! Monday mornin Amie and Jerdon decided it was there turn to do some berry pickin so they headed out the back door with Pa. By the time I caught up with them they didn"t have a gallon but they had a purple mouth and decided they were ready to leave the pickin to Pa!
