1st Sunday of Autumn 2010

We woke up to our 1st taste of Fall this morning here at Luther Farm. Amie, Jerdon and I pulled on our jeans & hoodies and went for an early morning walk. We took a trail through the woods and found a few Autumn colors peeking through the green leaves! Amie wanted to cut back across the field and pick some wildflowers for our breakfast table. Of course Jerdon had to help! we made our way back to the house and stopped to feed Lucy Goosey & Quacker some grass. Then it was time to go in for some breakfast for ourselves! I let them try their hand at making homemade biscuits. Grandpa was really impressed since he didn't have to cook! (we really enjoy his "Grandpa's Special" most weekends!}Here are a few pics from what was a Beautiful Autumn Sunday!

Fun at the Oklahoma State Fair

Pa, Amie, Jerdon and I met Sissy and Jessie at their house and went to the Fair today! It was really hot out there but we all had fun! Amie said her favorite part was riding the pony, but Jerdon still voted for the farris wheel! Pa said the best part was watchin the kids have fun but I thought havin Sissy and Jessie along to help keep up with them was the Best Part!!
